Extra stuff to know about the FN PS90

The Fn PS-90 is a sleek bullpup to fire and own.  I own the Tri Rail version with the black stock.  I chose the black color because I thought it looked better than the green and I got a deal on it.  The tri rail version allows the user to put what ever sight they want with out the need of purchasing additional hardware.  The optical sight that comes with the other models are nice but for me the eotech 512 was a better option.  Lubrication with this weapon is simple and you shouldn't need a lot of it.  The manual stats to use CLP so thats what I use the only other lubricant I use is Pro-Shot gold lubricant on the rails because this is cream and I feel as though it stays put and lubricates better, however clp will also do the job.  The manual also says to not use teflon products I don't know why they say use clp then because it has teflon in it but just something to note.
Slings can be a issue because most places you go to do not sell a sling for this rifle so you might have to go your online vendor of choice.  I have not purchased a sling for mine yet.  If your thinking of making your own well it is not as simple as making one for a ar15. The butt-stock height and configuration is what makes  this a issue.  Can it be done? Of course it can but your going to have to spend some time doing research on previous desighns.
Magazines are of good quality however the spring is very strong and can take a little time to break in.  You can cheat this by loading the mag to full capacity and letting it sit for a a week.  You will notice when the spring is good to go because on most mags when they are new if you load them to full capacity the initial round will sometimes not chamber correctly.  If this is a concern just do the old subtract 5 rounds from the max load cap.  And that pretty much works on any high cap mag.
Overall ammo should be at $20 for 50 rounds and anything over is ridiculous.  I don't reload but for a unique caliber like this it would be wise to save your brass as you might reload in the future.  You might also run into somebody that reloads and will buy your brass and since 5.7 brass can't be bought new it raises a supply and demand issue for reloaders.
